About me
Hey, I’m Peter Yan — a travel photographer, content creator and creative entrepreneur who built a multi-6-figure Etsy store from scratch.
I left my full-time job at Apple in 2018 to pursue photography. For a while, things were going well — I was travelling, working with brands like DJI, Olympus and Adobe, and growing my online audience. But when COVID hit in 2020, everything changed. Travel stopped. Client work dried up. And I suddenly had a lot of free time… and thousands of untouched images on my hard drive.
That’s when I decided to try Etsy.
I created a bunch of listings selling prints (old photos) — and waited. I still remember the feeling of that first sale. It wasn’t from a friend or follower, but a complete stranger. That one order gave me the spark to keep going.
I listed more photos. I learned how Etsy search worked. I figured out pricing, shipping, and how to create a premium experience using print-on-demand — even without touching a single parcel myself. I stayed consistent, kept improving my shop, and treated it like a real business.
In the first year, I made a few thousand dollars. In the second, tens of thousands. Since then, my store has brought in over $400,000 AUD in revenue, all from selling art online. And the best part? It’s profitable, scalable, and largely passive.
My Etsy income helped me stay afloat during a tough time — and eventually gave me the freedom to grow my business on my terms. I’ve learned how to create listings that convert, drive traffic without relying on social media, and use simple tools to automate fulfilment and customer service.
But it didn’t happen overnight. I made mistakes, tested ideas, refined my listings, and kept learning. Everything I know about Etsy — from choosing the right mockups to launching with zero reviews — I’ve poured into this course.
If you’re an artist or photographer who wants to turn your creativity into real income, this is for you.
Let me show you what worked for me — so you can start building your own version of success.
